My sweet little man has been cooing a lot more lately. He's even cracked a few smiles (though not shown in pictures above). I love this little guy.

I still have to wrap my mind around the idea that I'm married with two children. Wasn't I the child just a minute ago? Sometimes I forget that i'm a grown up and do things like take my shoes off and sit cross legged at a restaurant. Or say something like "dude, that would totally suck" in the middle of a Sunday school lesson. I feel like I'm caught in some thinly veiled world where I'm too old to know the lingo/fashion of the highschoolers, but I feel too young to be called "m'am" or "lady" or "sister rawson" or to drive a mini-van (gosh, I wish I had a mini-van! the Honda Odessy to be exact...silver...with a 6 disc CD player and automatic sliding doors).

I know exactly how you feel! Especially working at Chili's (just a night or two a week to get out) I'm around all of these young college kids with no responsiblity and wonder how nice it would be to go back to those days. But I'm a mom of two and I AM driving a minivan...am I really old enough to be driving a minivan?!?!

I know what you mean. Sometimes I feel like I'm playing pretend house. I still feel like a teenager sometimes- I wonder if that feeling ever goes away? It's weird being the 'adult' sometimes because it's up to you to decide. It has it's pros too though! I can go to bed when I want, eat cake for breakfast if I want and buy 'one more book' if I want to 'cause I'm the boss :-)

Jack is adorable. I love all of his hair! Are you having an easier time than you thought you would? I'll come down there if you need me to! :-)

I think I finally started feeling my age about last year. I will probably digress back to that if we have another kid. He is so very cute!!

What a cutie! As far as feeling your age, didn't Jesus tell us all to become as a little child? I'm taking that one to the bank. I DON'T WANNA GROW UP. I do own a minivan, though! It's a Toyota, the Honda's rival. And yes, fo shizzle.

Okay, I was trying to sound young and hip, but I totally screwed that up. I meant: and yes, it's saweet! Fo shizzle. How's that?

That's my dream vehicle. I never thought there would be a day that I would drool over a mini-van! Jack is sooo cute! Thanks for the pictures.

I feel the same. When I was teaching and I would have to argue with the cafeteria ladies to get a teacher plate; I always kind of thought, I have to argue with myself sometimes :)

Minivans are awesome! I was a little hesitant to get one, but have never regretted it. They are just so convenient and roomy.
