Jack + Our Room = Us on an airmattress in the livingroom.

We just couldn't take it anymore. Baby boy was waking up sometimes every 20 minutes to an hour. He'd stand up and poke his head over the top of the pack-n-play and cry at us. After Jared considered putting him in the bathroom and our closet (and its NOT a walk in closet), we decided to move to the living room. So far, so good. The first night, he still woke up frequently, but we were able to let him cry and settle himself. The crying definitely isn't as bad when your in the next room as opposed to an arm's length away. The second night, he woke up less and didn't nurse at all; which is a huge change from nursing every two hours. We'll see what night 3 holds. Hopefully, we'll be able to return to our room and our bed (that doesn't deflate) by the end of the week!

I don't think there's anything wrong with moving him to the bathroom. That's where Riley sleeps whenever we stay at a hotel. :)

We had Malachi in our room when he was a baby since we lived in a one bedroom condo. He did the same thing... They sleep much better without you in the room :) We had to sleep on a futon in the living room, and then Malachi finally became a better sleeper.

Good luck you guys :)

Just keep telling yourself that you'll be in your house soon and you'll feel so much better! When do you close on your house by the way?

I am sure you are super excited to move in- I know we are but we'll have to wait until May! It will be so nice to have a yard finally- Peyton goes stir crazy in our apartment but he's not smart enough to stay in one spot yet so I can't let him go out and play on the mini playground outside whenever he wants.

Jack will figure out the sleep thing soon I'll bet- just hang in there!

Aaron and I moved our BED into the dining room to get away from Calyn before we moved. I got sick of it, so i dragged our mattresses out when Aaron was at school one day. After one night she quit that business. We stayed in the dining room, however, until we moved:) I couldn't go back to sharing a room with her.
