We are among the few who have no cable or satellite TV. Unfortunately, this means that a lot of the time we have to fiddle with the antenna to get a good signal for our television viewing. Today, during this all important final day of the US Open, the TV is giving Jared probems. Here is a picture of his attempt to remedy the situation.

No, it didn't work. We need cable!

we have an antenna, too...let's just say words were said the day of the LSU National Championship that shouldn't be said that often :-)
at least you've got today for the golf too...

Oh no! Even I was watching that today. Poor Jared...but I am sure there will be many a good Youtube clips he can watch. That was stressful! I was jumping up and down, and then I started clapping when Tiger made the putt to put them into the sudden death (assuming Mediate didn't make it), so then Shelby started cheering and clapping.

You should not let things like this happen. :) The US Open is very important you know. Jared is always welcome to come over to our "we worship the TV" place and watch golf in hi-def. We had all FIVE days Tivo-ed too. You gotta be able to see that putt over and over and over ya know...
(sigh)
married to a golf nut, too...

We're cable free at our house too. I actually love the quiet. It looks like you have a ufo landing in your apt.

We do not have cable either but I watch just about everything on the internet....either I watch it on youtube or I go to the station it plays on and watch it there.

How funny, we have been there. We have spent more of our marriage without cable than with. All you really need is PBS, right? Sesame Street, Super Why, that's about all we watch around here.
